Mighty Films was founded in 2006 by Sean McPhillips, a film-maker and photographer with over twenty years experience in professional image making. Since then, we have grown into a multi-talented team with backgrounds in video production, photojournalism, industrial trades and community arts practice.

Mighty Films has a strong track record of producing compelling imagery for ‘Tier 1’ construction companies, government departments, NGOs and universities. With extensive experience on major infrastructure and industrial projects, international development projects and government programs, we have developed a reputation for utilising safe work practices to deliver high-quality assets with a friendly, professional and flexible approach. Mighty Films is based in Naarm-Melbourne, Australia on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people. We shoot regularly all over Australia and internationally, having worked in places as varied as the belly of a nuclear reactor, on top of the West Gate Bridge, deep under the Melbourne CBD, in the back of Jeepnys in Quezon City, Phillipines and tiny villages surrounded by elephant-proof thickets in rural Kenya.
